Meet the Founders

Building Essential Health

Becky and Crystal opened Essential Health Clinic together in 2016. Ten years on, the team has grown to twelve registered practitioners across six disciplines, the treatment list keeps expanding, and a second location is on the way. The hiring bar is the same one Becky and Crystal set on day one — clinical depth, and real care for the patient. Every practitioner here meets that standard, and the work stays focused on what actually moves long-term health.

Dr. Becky Lancione, DC

Chiropractor, Co-Founder

Dr. Becky has practised chiropractic care since before she co-founded Essential Health Clinic in 2016. She holds CACCP certification in paediatric chiropractic, Rock Tape Doctor and Movement Specialist credentials, and PIPS Technique training. She evaluates the full clinical picture, explains her findings directly, and builds a plan you understand before treatment begins.

Her clinical focus is paediatric and family chiropractic: infants with feeding and sleep-posture issues, school-age kids with sport-related strains, adults whose chronic pain has structural sources. She tells patients what she sees, and what she is not sure about, in the same conversation.

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC)
  • CACCP Certified (Paediatric Chiropractic)
  • Registered with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO)

Crystal Tait, RMT

Registered Massage Therapist, Co-Founder

Crystal is a Registered Massage Therapist, Structural Integration Therapist, Fascial Therapist, and Medical Laser Technician. Her background spans therapeutic massage, lymphatic drainage, shockwave therapy, Morpheus8, and Triton laser hair removal. Every session is structured around clinical assessment, not a standard protocol.

Her practice spans two halves. Therapeutic massage and structural integration for patients with chronic tension or post-injury recovery; medical aesthetics, including Morpheus8, Lumecca, and Triton laser hair removal, for patients whose concerns sit on the skin. The clinical lens is the same for both.

  • Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)
  • Structural Integration Therapist
  • Regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
How the clinic was built

Four things, unchanged since 2016.

Hired Against a Single Standard

Most of the practitioners here could be running their own clinic, and some have. They were brought to Essential Health against a single clinical standard, the one Becky and Crystal set in 2016. Every hire since has been measured against it. The work is the disciplines essential to long-term health, practised at that standard.

Registered Practitioners in Every Chair

Every practitioner holds a professional registration. Three chiropractors with the CCO, six RMTs with the CMTO, a pelvic floor physio, an osteopath, and a registered psychotherapist. No treatment is delegated.

Assessment Before Recommendation

Patients arrive with concerns and questions, not pre-formed treatment plans. The practitioner assesses, determines the right course, and explains it clearly. You leave knowing the plan and why.

The Patient Experience

Free parking on site. The pace is deliberate, the appointments are not overbooked, and the first visit usually runs longer than the booking allows for, on purpose. Patients describe the experience as feeling listened to.

Our Mission

Essential Health Clinic exists for the patients in Vaughan and the surrounding communities whose body, mind, or skin needs real work. Everything else, the disciplines, the building, the team, is here to serve that.

I attended Essential Health Clinic for my Lumecca IPL face and hands treatment. I'm in my mid 70s and was very nervous, but Crystal met me at the door and her welcoming calmness immediately put me at ease.
