Alina Scenna, RMT

About Alina

Alina assesses every patient before she puts a hand on anyone. Pressure, technique, and positioning all change based on what she finds, the same client may need deep tissue on the upper back and feather-light lymphatic work along the legs in the same hour. She does not move into treatment until she knows what the body is asking for. She is a Registered Massage Therapist regulated by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Her training extends into Brazilian lymphatic drainage and certified prenatal massage, both technique-precise specialisations where wrong pressure or wrong positioning either fails the treatment or risks harm. Post-cosmetic-surgery patients managing swelling and prenatal patients managing trimester-specific demand both need that kind of precision. Alina explains what she is doing and why throughout the session.

The process

Assess first. Then treat.

A four-step session structure. Each session is built around what your body presents that day — not a fixed protocol.

01Assess

Alina assesses before she treats.

Alina reviews your health history and current concerns before any hands-on work begins. She discusses your goals, assesses areas of restriction, and explains the approach she recommends. Pressure, technique, and positioning are all decided here — not assumed. She does not move into treatment until she knows what the body is asking for.

What we check
  • Health history and current concerns
  • Trimester or post-op stage, where relevant
  • Active restriction, range of motion, and tender points
  • Goals for the session — relief, recovery, or maintenance
  • Positioning needs (side-lying for prenatal, post-surgical zones)

Built into every session
