Medical-Grade Skincare

What Brings You In

Concerns Medical-Grade Skincare Treats

Acne Scars

Acne & Post-Acne Marks

Active breakouts, persistent comedones, and post-inflammatory pigment. The AlumierMD acne line addresses sebum, inflammation, and the pigment marks left behind through daily home use. Established atrophic scarring needs in-clinic Morpheus8 alongside any home regimen.

Treatments+

Acne Balancing Cleanser and Acne Clarifying Lotion (salicylic acid) for the pore, niacinamide for inflammation control, a retinol grade matched to your skin for cell turnover, and mineral SPF to prevent post-inflammatory pigment from deepening.

Causes+

Sebum overproduction, blocked follicles, inflammation, and the bacteria that thrives in that environment. Hormones, stress, and the wrong product layering all keep the cycle running, which is why a consistent and properly sequenced home routine matters.

Medical-Grade Skincare Process

How your AlumierMD routine gets built.

Every step is dialled to your skin analysis, presenting concerns, and the in-clinic work happening alongside it.

Step 01 · Assess
Full skin analysis before any product is selected.

Your practitioner reviews your current routine, your concerns, your sun and lifestyle history, and the products that have helped or hurt in the past. A visual analysis under clinic lighting follows, plus history-taking around any active flares, recent in-clinic work, and tolerance to retinoids or acids. The first twenty to thirty minutes are assessment. Product selection begins only after the picture is clear.

Details+
  • • Current routine, what helps, what irritates
  • • Concern priority and treatment-plan context
  • • Sun history, hormonal status, retinoid tolerance
  • • Barrier status and any active flare or recent procedure

Honest Scope

When Medical-Grade Skincare Isn't the Right First Call

Contraindications and timing flags

Pregnancy and breastfeeding rule out retinoids and high-dose salicylic acid. Known allergies to specific actives need a different formulation pathway. Recent Morpheus8, Lumecca, or in-clinic peels carry a prescribed recovery window before retinol restart. Parallel use of isotretinoin needs coordination with the prescribing dermatologist before any topical retinoid is layered in.

We screen at intake

Your practitioner screens for these flags before any product is dispensed. The staged ramp protocol prevents the irritation that derails most home routines. A one-month follow-up is built into every plan to catch tolerance issues early, and frequency or strength is adjusted before they become a problem. If anything in your history calls for coordination with your dermatologist first, that happens before any retinoid is layered in. Appropriate scope of practice, not a hedge.

Sometimes a different starting point is better

Systemic cystic acne or suspected rosacea workup belongs with a dermatologist first. Dermal-level laxity or scarring will not respond to topicals alone, so the conversation shifts to Morpheus8 or in-clinic resurfacing. Your practitioner will tell you that directly at consultation if it applies.

Your Treatment Practitioners

AlumierMD dispensed by your skincare practitioner.

Medical-grade skincare at Essential Health Clinic in Vaughan is dispensed after a skin analysis. The reason it is dispensed and not retailed comes down to the concentrations on the label. Physician-grade actives at clinical strength can do real work, and real harm if used wrong. Your practitioner is accountable for matching the formulation to your skin, dosing the strength appropriately, and adjusting the routine as your skin responds.

Steps to your first consultation.

02

Step Two

Your skin analysis runs twenty to thirty minutes. Crystal reviews your current routine, your concerns, your sun and lifestyle history, and the products that have helped or hurt in the past. Product selection follows the analysis. You leave with a written AM and PM regimen, a ramp schedule, and a one-month follow-up already booked.

Step One

No referral required. Book at essentialchirormt.janeapp.com or call 905-856-2299. Same-week appointments are typically available.

03

Step Three

Reassessment happens at every visit. Texture and hydration changes show within two to four weeks. Acne pattern improvement typically takes four to twelve weeks. Pigment and collagen-related change becomes visible across two to three months. The routine evolves as your skin does, not on a pre-purchased package.
