Natural Stress Relief in Vaughan
Anxiety isn't only cognitive — it shows up in the body. Our registered psychotherapist leads psychotherapy that includes brainspotting and somatic work; registered massage and chiropractic care support the physical component when that is part of the picture.
Where the concern starts.

How We Treat Natural Stress
Stress Anxiety rarely comes from one structure. We coordinate across three treatments — the right combination depends on your case. Nicole Bonich is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario. She provides individual therapy for anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Nicole uses brainspotting to access and process the way stress and anxiety are stored in the nervous system. Her somatic approach recognises that anxiety is not purely cognitive. It lives in the body too. Sessions are structured around your specific situation. Virtual sessions are available for patients who prefer to work from home or who have scheduling constraints that make in-person visits difficult.

Registered Massage Therapy
Chronic stress creates measurable physical tension. Elevated muscle tone in the neck, shoulders, and jaw. Restricted breathing. A nervous system that will not settle. Registered massage therapy addresses these patterns directly. Our RMTs use Swedish massage, deep tissue work, and targeted relaxation techniques to reduce muscle tension, support parasympathetic recovery, and improve circulation. Sessions can stand alone or complement psychotherapy for patients working on both the physical and psychological dimensions of stress.

Chiropractic Care
Stress-related musculoskeletal pain often settles in the cervical and thoracic spine. Jaw clenching produces TMJ discomfort. Tension headaches originate from sustained contraction in the upper back and neck. Chiropractic care at Essential Health Clinic addresses the spinal and joint components of stress-driven pain, reducing the physical load that keeps the stress cycle active.

I've been a patient at Essential Health for over a year. The whole team is fantastic. Dr. Becky takes her time, explains things clearly, and never rushes the appointment.
