About Ramandeep

Ramandeep Singh holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy and is certified in pelvic floor physiotherapy, dry needling, and acupuncture. At Essential Health Clinic in Vaughan, Rami treats everything from ACL tears and frozen shoulders to incontinence and diastasis recti. That range is uncommon in one physiotherapist.

Rami's pelvic floor practice treats men as readily as women. Postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, post-prostatectomy continence, diastasis recti, the assessment process and the standard of care stay the same regardless of gender. Alongside pelvic work, he uses manual therapy, cupping, IASTM, shockwave therapy, and exercise prescription to manage musculoskeletal conditions across the Vaughan community.

Technique & Methods

Every treatment plan starts with a full assessment. Rami identifies what is driving the problem, explains it clearly, and builds a programme around measurable goals. No guesswork.

The process

Find the driver. Build the programme.

A four-step clinical workflow — thorough assessment, hands-on treatment, measurable progression, and direct handoff to the practitioner down the hall when the case calls for it.

01Assess

A full assessment before anything begins.

Rami starts with a thorough history and physical evaluation — range of motion, strength, movement patterns, and neurological screening. For pelvic floor concerns, a private and sensitive assessment follows. You receive a clear explanation of what he found and what is contributing to your symptoms. The treatment plan is laid out before treatment starts.

What we check
  • History, symptom timeline, prior injuries, and goals
  • Range of motion, strength testing, joint and tissue palpation
  • Movement patterns and functional mechanics
  • Neurological screening for radicular symptoms
  • Private pelvic floor assessment when indicated

No. No referral is required to see Rami. Most extended health plans cover physiotherapy directly. Receipts include CPO registration details for insurance submission, and direct billing is available with many insurers.

Yes. Rami's pelvic floor practice treats men as readily as women. Post-prostatectomy continence, chronic pelvic pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction are all part of his caseload. The assessment process and the standard of care stay the same regardless of gender.

It depends on the procedure and your surgeon's clearance. For most orthopaedic surgeries — ACL, rotator cuff, fracture fixation — early physiotherapy improves outcomes. Bring your operative report and discharge instructions to the first visit, and Rami will progress the programme within the surgical protocol.

The first visit is a thorough history and external assessment. Internal assessment, if clinically indicated, only happens with your explicit consent — and never on the first visit unless you specifically request it. You can stop the assessment at any point. Privacy and pace are set by you.

Yes. Postpartum recovery, diastasis recti, and pelvic floor rehabilitation are a core part of his practice. The programme combines manual assessment, breathing and core retraining, and progressive loading — not generic core exercises. Pre- and postnatal cases are treated with the same evidence-based standard.
