What Happens at Your First Visit

Here is what to expect when you arrive for your initial assessment:

1. Arrive early. Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment to complete your intake forms at the front desk. If you received digital forms by email, complete them before your visit.
2. Meet your practitioner. Your practitioner will review your intake information and ask about your current concern, symptoms, and health history.
3. Assessment. For hands-on services like chiropractic, physiotherapy, osteopathy, or massage therapy, your practitioner will complete a physical assessment. This may include range of motion testing, postural analysis, or other clinical evaluations.
4. Care plan. At the end of the visit, your practitioner will explain what they found and recommend a treatment approach. You will have time to ask questions before deciding on next steps.

There is no pressure to commit to ongoing care at your first visit.
